The Yucatan peninsula in Mexico is famous for many things. Nature lovers usually know it because of the great diving in Cozumel or the Cenotes.
Some will come to dive with bull sharks or swim with manta rays, whale sharks or even with sailfish. Of course, most of the people come only to lay in the sun, visit some eco-parks and spend some time at one of the beautiful beaches.
The Yucatan Peninsula is home to over 180 species of reptiles and amphibians. This includes two species of crocodiles, three species of iguanas and many snake species.
This is why we set up the ultimate nature tour in the peninsula with a scientific approach. No, you can go on a one-week long trip organized to find as many species of reptiles as possible. With special attention to the following species:

Boat trip in the wetlands in search of Crocodiles (area of Isla Blanca). Overnight in Cancun—Hotel Rey del

Day 3: Cozumel
Transfer to Cozumel, Punta Sur and search for Crocodiles and giant Green Iguanas. Overnight at Cozumel—
Hotel Casa Mexicana Cozumel or similar.
Day 4: Cozumel
Snorkel in the reefs of Cozumel (looking for Turtles) and take the ferry to go to Kantemo to see the famous
Bat eating Snakes. Afterwards, boat trip to search for Crocodiles. Overnight at Kantemo cabins.
Day 5: Akumal
Snorkel in Akumal to swim with Marine Turtles. Afterwards, hiking in a reserve looking for reptiles and
amphibians. Overnight in Cancun—Hotel Rey del Caribe or similar.
Day 6: Free day
Day to relax and enjoy the beach in Cancun. Overnight in Cancun—Hotel Rey del Caribe or similar.
Day 7: Departure
Departure. Transfer to Cancun airport for your flight back home.
