Twice a year, more than 500 species of birds are coming to the Yucatan Peninsula to escape the cold weather. This is a great chance to see a big variety of bird species and learn about their behavior.
After a long and exhausting flight let’s start this journey with some rest while relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach and get ready for the rest of the journey.

Option 1: Whale Shark Adventure
Summer season (mid-May to mid-September): This is the adventure you have been waiting for, the Whale Shark Adventure!
This is your opportunity to swim and snorkel with this peaceful shark, the biggest fish in the world.
Although this creature only eats plankton, you will be amazed by its huge size. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
7 a.m. Pick up at your hotel in Cancun (6 a.m. in Playa del Carmen, 5 a.m. in Tulum)
7:30 a.m. Briefing from our certified guides about whale sharks at the pier, have a light breakfast before going into the adventure: Coffee, juice, fruit and sweet bead will be at your disposition during the briefing.
8 a.m. Departure from the pier to the whale shark reserve. Once there, you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel with the biggest fish in the world.
12 p.m. Lunch at the boat near the beach of Isla Mujeres. Swim in the turquoise water while the captain is preparing your ceviche for lunch.
2 p.m. Expected arrival back at your hotel in Cancun.
Option 2: Archaeological sites of Coba and Tulum
Winter dates (mid-September till mid-May): Visit the great archaeological sites of Coba and Tulum. These precious cities have had a great influence on the Yucatan Peninsula. Here you can discover the authentic Maya culture and traditions. This place is worth to be visited and will complete the whole Yucatan adventure!
8 a.m. Pick up at your hotel in Cancun. Departure to the archaeological site of Coba.
10:30 a.m. Arrival at the archaeological site of Coba.
12:30 p.m. Time to take a break and have a snack.
2:30 p.m. Expected arrival back at your hotel in Cancun.
Snorkel trip in the second largest coral reef in the world. Later enjoy snorkeling in a crystal clear wáter cenote. After this, back to the hotel.
Get ready early in the morning to head towards the Maya jungle to discover, watch and learn about some of the 500 bird species. Transfer back to Cancun to enjoy rest of the day in the beach.
Depart to Sian Ka’an that will allow you to practice kayak through the wetlands, hike like an explorer through the jungle and swim around as you enjoy the amazing wonder of this natural protected area.
Located in the municipality of Tulum, Sian Ka’an is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will be able to participate and learn about several conservation projects.
6:30 a.m. Pick up at your hotel in Cancun.
9:30 a.m. Visit to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere.
1:30 p.m. Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Cenote Azul.
3:30 p.m. Lunchtime in Tulum.
4 p.m. Transfer back to your hotel.
6:30 p.m. Arrival at your hotel in Cancun.
